Lacey Hennessey is a self-taught, traveling artist and adventurer who creates vibrant visuals for brands, spaces, and products. What started as a love of color — and a hatred for vacation policies — quickly turned a corporate exit into an exciting career painting her way across the map. Today, you can find more than 300 Lacey Does® murals across the U.S. and over 1,500 commissions living in private homes. In addition to artwork, her expertise extends to coaching, speaking, and offering a library of creative resources designed to help others build a life and brand worth talking about.

But the story behind the art runs deeper.

Growing up, Lacey experienced more than her share of loss — young friends gone too soon — and the realization that time is undefeated. It taught her early that a life résumé mattered just as much as a professional one. So, in 2018 she left her corporate career to pursue art full-time. With newfound freedom, she started traveling. She chased joy and movement and craved a challenge. Today, she’s visited more than 30 countries, filling her calendar with activities outside her comfort zone. 

She’s lived on sailboats with strangers. Went cage diving with sharks. Jumped out of an airplane, and then off a bridge. 

She joined an Adventure Club, hiked the Grand Canyon Rim2Rim, and keeps pushing her own physical limits just to see what she’s capable of. She’s worked in restaurants, filled in as a mascot, and landed herself on the cover of a German newspaper at her first Oktoberfest. With Lacey, life is never boring. She was once a child actress, who later won homecoming queen, and most recently beat cancer. See, never a dull moment to be found.
